Re: ODBC SQL Query CURRDATE -1

Hi repgen.

To get yesterdays data you would need to change the last selection criteria to:

(MK_01_ContactHistoryRecords.ContactDate = TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, -1, CURDATE()))

Re: WDW 32-Bit - Printer Font Size Problem

I seem to recall it being caused by the current user not have permissions to update the registry.

The 16-bit is OK because it uses the wdw.ini file

You'd probably find that KClient has the same problem.

Re: Getting Each Partitions Unix User ID

Could you do the who-u once, and then loop through the results?

Re: KCML6 and WDW

any WDW 32 bit works OK, the 16 bit version works, but only when run in a compatibility mode (depending on your version of windows). KCML6 will come with ODBC, never had any issues with that. We use the sources file for the datasources, there is an issue that if a kconf.xml file exists within the kc...

Re: KCML6 and WDW

We moved from KCML 5 to 6 for the same reason.

We ran (still do) with WDW without a problem, just as long as you don't want to use KCML forms.

We actually found that a switch from WDW to Kclient caused more issues as users were used to function keys and macro's that Kclient did not support.

Re: SOAP Server

We recently did the same thing, however we decided not to use the method used in the manual as each request uses a licence and the cost to upgrade hundreds of servers put a stop to that. So we used apache, but could not locate the mod_kcml - Kerridge (ADP) were also unable to get it for us (or unwil...

Re: Connecting to a ADP Database via SQL2005 SSIS

Should just be called sql or sql.exe if you are on windows. Easiest way is to down the Kcml server from http://www.kcml.com , uncompress and then cpio the image file. Then just copy the sql file into your kcml folder. Operation will depend on your kcml version, if you have the old sources file then ...

Re: Connecting to a ADP Database via SQL2005 SSIS

We went down a very different route on this. Although the exporting to a text is a tried and tested method for exporting data from a K-Isam database it does take a far amount of time and requires a bit more work than using ODBC. However ODBC comes at a cost per user, unless you know how to reset the...

Re: warning messages

Yeah, the cache is local, but it does write to the server's log - Odd I know. Also worth while finding the image that it can't load and make sure it's a valid type - For example an image should be opened in an image viewer. We have a few that are incorrectly formatted (FTP transfer errors) that caus...

Re: warning messages

The message is caused by KClient's cache. You could turn off the cache via the preference's (Per Client). It's more that likely though that you have a form that is trying to load a file that either does not exist or that is not in the correct format and KClient can't display it. It's nothing to worr...
