Does any one know ....

Post by Blackshaw » Thu Jun 25, 2009 6:56 am

..... I have upgraded to KCML 5.50 to get round the 2gb file limit issue of earlier versions.

Unfortunately Ctrl/Break does not work now which is a bit of an issue.

I amd ealing with ADP Sinagapore for support but they "have no site in Asia with WDW" apart from us.

Does any one know of a WDW site with 5.50 I can refer to for advice

I have just tried ctrl-break on a 5.5 system with WDW without issue.

For reference environment variables:

TERM=vt100
KTERM=wdw

Do you have kterm set?

Just to update everyone on KCML 5.50 and such.

It seems that they have built a KClient link into KCML 5.50 so it assumes you are running KClient and Kerridge Revison 8 etc.

They have gone back to the UK to try and sort out the issue so I can run 5.50 for its 2gb+ file capabilites and a WDW / Revision 7 platform.

I am dealing with ADP Singapore which doesnt help.

At one point the told me no one in south east asia was running 5.50 and wdw until I pointed out that I had put 5.50 on my programmers box with wdw in 2005 and that ran perfectly with 2gb+ and wdw.

It was suggested that we took the whole site to KCML 6 and Kclient but that would not be acceptable in this site.

I await developments but as we have a second line support contract with Kerridge/ADP for KCML etc and have had for 10 years I remain optimistic.
