KCML 6.00 Creating KDB Type 7 Tables

Post by sgnirtswob » Tue Apr 19, 2011 10:04 am

Does any one have any example code, or would be able to create some, that will create a type 7 data file in KCML6.00.

ki_create wont' facilitate this, but KI_PREPARE gives me a ki_status of 45 when I try using the following sql; "CREATE TABLE JOBHNOTES (jobno NUMERIC (10,2) UNSIGNED, specinst BLOB, jobinfo BLOB, taskdet BLOB, noteblob BLOB, failblob BLOB) TYPE 7" in a ki_prepare statement.

I know this can be done because I have kcml type 7 files with blobs working, its just that we can't seem to create them, or update them when new fields are added unless we turn them in type 6 files which isn't a good thing.

Thanks in advance
